Tyler entered an environmental contest “Caring for our Watersheds” and submitted his ideas on how to protect and improve the watersheds. The trigger for his participation was the sight of dog waste near a storm sewer. After some research he approached Practica for a sample dispenser and some dog poop-pick up bags as one of the solutions to protect the watersheds.

Tyler Brown won 1st prize for his School with his presentation and strong belief in preserving the Watersheds. The contest was initiated by Agrium Inc. and Lower Trent Conservation to help ensure a better and healthier environment. Practica is allowed to apply a sticker on its dispensers from the Lower Trent Conservation to show their support for Tyler Brown and in “Caring for our Watersheds”.
